Embroidery Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

  1. Machine Operation: Operate Tajima embroidery machines to embroider designs on various materials, ensuring precision and top-notch quality.
  2. Setup and Preparation: Set up machines accurately with the appropriate thread, needles, fabric, hoops, and design patterns as per job specifications. Load garments, align letters, numbers, and logos effectively.
  3. Quality Assurance: Monitor the embroidery process closely, inspect finished products for quality assurance, and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent and accurate designs.
  4. Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance and prolong the lifespan of the machines.
  5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of designs, thread usage, production output, and any machine maintenance or issues encountered during operations.
  6. Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to maintain a safe work environment for oneself and colleagues.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of prior experience operating Tajima or similar embroidery machines in a manufacturing or apparel industry.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in hooping garments onto the machine.
  3. Proficiency in setting up designs, changing threads, and addressing minor machine issues.
  4. Ability to ensure precision and accuracy in embroidered designs, detecting flaws or irregularities efficiently.
  5. Capability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  6. Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
  7. Proficient in English (speaking and understanding) is a must.
  8. Must be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Shift Information:

  • Full-time position available for both morning shift (7:50 am to 4:30 pm) and night shift (4:20 pm to 1 am) from Monday to Friday.

Compensation:

  • Starting rate for morning shift: $19.00/hour
  • Starting rate for night shift: $20.00/hour
