Industrial Electrician
Food manufacturing facility in Toronto…
Applicant must be willing to work any shift, including night shift.
Applicant should have completed an apprenticeship program & certified as 309A and /or 442A
Electrician in Ontario. Prefer candidates also have a College CET.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing.
Job Functions:
Perform preventative maintenance according to specifications, instructions of
Maintenance Management.
Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, the building, and all of its
components.
Design and build electrical panels for machinery.
Design and build electrical circuits to improve the performance of equipment and
machinery.
Specific skills requirements:
Industrial Electrician license.
Minimum 3 years of local experience in Canada from within a Food Plant Manufacturing
environment.
Required skills:
Troubleshooting skills for Electrical & Mechanical problems
Understanding of electrical circuitry
Knowledge of PLCs, maintenance shop machinery, and electronics
Knowledge of building wiring and CSA codes as it apply to an Industrial
establishment.
Reading, writing, and communication in English.
Must be able to lift and move heavy machinery.
Ability to work at heights, heat, cold, and within guidelines of Occupational Health & Safety.
