Job Description:

Night shift (10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.) – $39.80 per hour + $1.20 shift premium ($41 total hourly rate)

Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance according to specifications and management instructions.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure.
Design and build electrical panels for machinery.
Develop and implement electrical circuits to enhance equipment performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with CSA codes and safety regulations in an industrial setting.

Qualifications:
Certified as a 309A and/or 442A Electrician in Ontario.
Completion of an apprenticeship program.
College CET certification (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Minimum 3 years of local experience in Canada within a food plant manufacturing setting.

Skills & Requirements:
Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems.
In-depth knowledge of electrical circuitry, PLCs, and industrial electronics.
Experience with maintenance shop machinery and building wiring.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and CSA codes.
Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
Ability to lift and move heavy machinery.
Comfortable working at heights, extreme temperatures, and within safety guidelines.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Must be willing to work any shift, including night shifts.
