Job Description
SHAD Consultants Inc. is currently recruiting two Warehouse Supervisors for an immediate opportunity with a client located in Concord, Ontario.
We are looking for experienced warehouse professionals who are interested in taking on a supervisory role in a busy warehouse environment. There is one opening on the day shift and one opening on the afternoon shift.
Compensation will range from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on the successful candidate’s relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Supervising and supporting warehouse employees during the assigned shift
- Coordinating daily warehouse activities and workflow
- Assigning work and helping ensure daily priorities are completed
- Monitoring productivity and operational efficiency
- Supporting shipping, receiving, picking and other warehouse operations as required
- Helping maintain an organized and safe working environment
- Communicating operational issues and staffing needs to management
- Ensuring employees follow workplace procedures and safety requirements
- Assisting with other supervisory duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience
- Previous supervisory, team-lead or similar leadership experience is preferred
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate employees and daily warehouse activities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and able to work the assigned shift
Compensation
$30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
