Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure optimal production operations. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret schematics and work with various maintenance tools. The Industrial Mechanic will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards and ensuring continuous manufacturing processes.

Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and analysis skills
Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, belts, pumps, and valves
Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize machine performance
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Assist with HVAC, boiler, welding, and low voltage electrical repairs as needed
Conduct analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure safety compliance and efficient operations
Support installation of new machinery and upgrades to existing systems
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance and manufacturing environments
Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics interpretation
Experience with CMMS software for work order management and documentation
Electrical experience, including low voltage systems and industrial electrician skills
Knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, welding techniques, and general mechanical repairs
Ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly and effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
Customer service orientation when interacting with internal teams or external vendors
