Job Description Candidate should have the following abilities:  Hold a valid Industrial skilled trades license ( Millwright ) from Ontario or any province from within Canada  A good understanding of the mechanical and electrical components of equipment used in the bakeshop and packaging departments (i.e. flow wrappers, metal detectors, etc.)  Knowledge of shop tools (i.e. milling machines, lathes, grinders, drilling machines, welding )  Troubleshooting, fixing mechanical problems, and setting up of equipment in an efficient manner.  Performing major and minor adjustments to equipment in a reasonable timeframe.  Performing all maintenance on plant equipment in a safe manner, ensure equipment and machines are clean and in good working order, following GMP  Completion and submission of appropriate reports.  Maintain a variety of mechanical equipment both corrective and preventative maintenance.  Perform equipment/system improvements as well as research and test new equipment, complete all maintenance record keeping, and ensure all related information is available.  Provide emergency response as first responder and verifier  Participate in the performance management process to keep work activities focused on company strategic objectives.  A minimum of 3 years working experience with mechanical, electrical; including set-up, adjustments and troubleshooting  Exceptional attendance record, ability to pay attention to small details.  Flexible to move between shifts to meet department requirements.  Good written and oral communication skills, in English  Excellent work safety record on the technical side  Complete all other duties as instructed and assigned by the Supervisor and Manager

Overview: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will lead the effective planning of the maintenance program. This position is responsible for utilizing the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to continuously improve the work order system with Commercial Bakeries and to search for effective ways to reduce unplanned downtime significantly within the current practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Championing the improvement of planned work through the use of the CMMS program such as identifying appropriate frequency and transitioning from time-based to condition-based
• Maintain and continuously analyze the preventive maintenance schedule in collaboration with a production schedule
• Issuing all PMs and CMs in a timely manner and closing all PMs and CMs once completed.
• Catalogue & organize stockroom inventory, maintain minimum parts inventory & consumables.
• Maintain maintenance records – service manuals and certifications.
• Generating KPI reports and presenting to the management team.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships across internal departments as well as with external contractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Assist in the implementation of capital projects

  Recipe for Success:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner / Buyer
• Computer Savvy, practical knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Experience within a food Manufacturing facility
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Highly organized self-starter who can maintain flexibility while consistently applying the facility’s policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in spray staining using industrial/professional style paint sprayers/guns.
• Familiarity with lacquers and stains for furniture and wooden case goods.
• Knowledge of mixing techniques and color matching.
• Ability to work full-time from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, on-site.
• Self-provided respirator and willingness to use the appropriate PPE provided by the company.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $20-$30 (Based on experience)
• The most experienced candidate may be offered the higher end of the pay scale.
